If every woman in the world stopped wearing clothes and wore only earmuffs, would the male population be horny for ears?
And it would be mandatory for women to wear earmuffs in public.
I know some guys do have foot fetishes as they don't see women's feet everyday. But ears? Would boys growing up have an urge to see women's ears?
Silly question, I know. But I need to win an argument. So if anyone want to contribute, I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

Well, Jerry Seinfeld has an old routine about this sort of topic. "Whatever it is that you won't show us, that's what we're obsessed with seeing. I mean, if women always wore hats in public all the time, you'd see men buying Playhead magazine."

I've seen a cartoon from the 70s with this idea, though with elbows.
I still reckon (even if we limit this to hetero men!) the answer would be no. Ears'd probably move up in titillation value, but I don't think that men like women's bits solely in the order in which they're likely to be hidden.

Let's leave psychology and any sense of gender analysis out of this, and approach it as an economics question. You have two forces at work; supply and demand.
In your test, you radically restrict the supply of ears on public view by making earmuffs mandatory. An increase in sexual interest in ear-viewing would only arise if demand were driven entirely by scarcity. Is it?

cf. Victorian England's ankle fetish - I can't find a good link, and do not intend to spend a lot of time Googling ankle fetish sites, but it would seem to back up this notion...
