How to upload info to Covered California website

Howdy. The good news is that I've finally been accepted for health insurance via Covered California. The bad news is that it's for 90 days only because the program needs additional information. I can mail it (nope), fax it (prefer not to) or upload it (yay). Only problem is, the user interface is fairly sucky. I cannot find the mystery link to uploading information. Maybe it's me, maybe it's the site. Either way, would be grateful for a link or explanation if you know how to perform file uploading magic.

As I recall, there should be a page with line items of what they need you to submit, with an upload button that pops up a window to select your files. The link to this page will either be in your 'secure mailbox' (link in upper right next to 'my account') where they tell you what documentation they need, or on the lower right side under actions. You can also click on 'personal information' from the main page after you log in.

Does this still apply? (Crazy that something so easy should require a 5 page job aid...)

I cursed a lot when updating my coverage. So I'll curse in sympathy w. you now.

Google suggests the Contact Us page for info about Submitting Documents. (I don't mean to be insulting if you've already tried this and found it to be a dead end.)

Try the steps at this link. It appears to be a known issue.

Response by poster: I knew the Hive Mind could help me. Thanks for all the suggestions! Alas, I'm now locked out of my account. Sigh. Once I get that fixed tomorrow, I'll see which advice worked for me and come back to mark the best answers.

A lot of email programs can send attachments to a fax number, if that might help.

Best answer: You can send faxes from some Kinkos, Fedex offices, and mom and pop UPS stores, should you want to route around the damaged web site.

Response by poster: Thanks for all the help. In the end I mailed in my docs, which didn't work. So now I am faxing them. Thanks, all!
