How to use Powerpoint online while in JApan in Englsih

I am needing to use powerpooint online from a Japanese freinds PC in Tokyo The menu items for IE and for powerpoint online are all in Japanese I went into Internet Explorer tools and added and promoted english language but nothing changes+ the menu is still in Japanese Can someone please guide me through this???

Click on the address bar, replace the last bit (after omkt=) for en-US or en-UK.
I haven't verified if it sticks, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

It worked for me here in Brazil. At the risk of sounding condescending, did you either press enter or click on go after editing the address?

Are you using the one at office.live.com? There's also a change language button on the bottom left corner.

I am in onedrive.live.com and dont see a change language icon anywhere in left corner

Best answer: Ok, I can't test this because I don't have an account, but I got this from their support page.

To view your OneDrive in a different language, tap or click the language and country/region at the bottom of the page. Pick a different language and country/region, and then tap or click Save.

I imagine your friend can translate the text for you, if not at least you have a general idea of where to look.

I'm not familiar with Microsoft's options, but is there a reason why you couldn't switch to their other site where language seems to be easier to change?
