Help ID a 'murder on a train' film?

Asking for an IRL friend - can anyone help name a 'murder on a train' film that either begins or ends up in New Orleans and probably includes a rousing version of "Toot Toot Tootsie Goodbye?"

Movie vintage is likely mid-late '70s or early '80s and was apparently in semi-regular rotation in the early days of HBO/Showtime. Thanks!

"Toot, Toot, Tootsie" appears in a lot of films, including The Jazz Singer (1927), The Public Enemy (1931), The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), Big Blonde (1980), Bright Lights, Big City (1988), Goodfellas (1990), Bullets Over Broadway (1994), Primary Colors (1998), The Cat's Meow (2001) and Leatherheads (2008), but none of these are murder-on-a-train films, and none are from the right years. Bullets Over Broadway and The Cat's Meow each have murders and trains, but not together.

Silver Streak (1976) is the right year, and probably the best known American murder-on-a-train film of the '70s, but doesn't involve New Orleans (the Silver Streak goes from LA to Chicago), and I'm pretty sure doesn't have "Toot, Toot, Tootsie" in the soundtrack. I'd run it by your friend, though, just in case.
