How can I make my life truly interesting, unique?

Some might say that only I can really answer that question, but I need your help. I know it's childish, but you know how when you watch TV shows you're just watching people live through an almost constantly interesting, fun, adventurous, awesome, unique-ish life. I know they're leaving out a lot of the 'paperwork', so to speak, but even so, I feel like my life is nothing like that, and I really want to... live? I'm not sure what I'm asking exactly. Something that really attracts me is the element of freedom, individuality, uniqueness, yet also the depth and expansiveness. It's a rich, vibrant existence.

Sorry if this is a hard question to answer. I'm asking for your input because I'm not sure how to answer it myself. Or maybe the answer is already there in my gut, my heart or whatever, but I'm too chicken to actually break the mould do what I want?
------
Maybe it's just an illusion, but I can't tell you how much I want it not to be. Meanwhile, I'll lose myself in the fantasy world on the TV.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Heya, I appreciate that there's an element of "I'm not sure what I'm trying to ask" to this, but you do need to rework this into a more focused, specific and answerable question for it to work for Ask MetaFilter. -- cortex
