Article about regrowth on a British farm

I read an article maybe a year or two back about a couple/family in England (or possibly elsewhere in the UK but I think England) who purchased a farm (?) and then let it just...grow. And now I can't find it.

There was some general pushback from neighbors and whatnot, but the article detailed the different plants that came back over several years, the many species of native birds that appeared on their property, and the general surprise that it was as successful as it seemed to be. I am having no luck finding this with all my varieties of searching! Perhaps it will ring a bell for someone here...or maybe my sheer posting will allow me to find it. Thanks!

Response by poster: yes thank you all! (my mental timeline was clearly wildly off, but random internet stuff speeds past at light speed nowadays...)
