A remote control car with a "booster"

What is it and where can I find one?
I would like to donate a gift to a child who has asked for a remote control car with a "booster." I am looking on Amazon and I can find a lot of different styles of cars but I'm not entirely sure what to buy. I've found this but those cars seem particularly small and I don't want to get the wrong thing. Is a booster something that turns regular hot wheels into remote control cars? I am confused.
The child is 9 years old and I would probably spend anywhere between $25 and $75 dollars; if the cost is less than that, a recommendation for something along the same lines to add to the gift package would be great.
Can someone who knows a little more about this than me point me in the right direction? Specific links would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

A recommendation along the same lines, maybe as the 'something else' in the package:
For about 20 bucks you can get one of these super fun little RC helicopters.
It says from ages 8+. Nearly everybody loves 'em.
(It also needs a few AA batteries).
