I will receive an A because its easier for me to remember what I'm interested in, than memorizing boring information for school. I just finished reading "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver.

[Ask MetaFilter is where people post statements and other people ask them questions, right?]

AskMeFi. You're doing it wrong.
...though I also love The Poisonwood Bible, and I haven't read a book I liked more in the last 5 years.

Oh, the question is in the title? I was confused for a second. But yeah, flagged as chatfilter.

Yeah, this is not the kind of thing Ask MetaFilter is for. Don't be offended when this "question" is deleted -- try again next week, with a more fleshed out query!

There is something so special about coming upon a thread that is about to be deleted. I already feel nostalgic for it.

Response by poster: The title of the question is: If someone gave you a surprise test on the last book you read for pleasure, what grade would you get?

Boring information for school sucks! That's why I read "Clan of the Cave Bear". Much better than "The Inheritors", and it also has lesbian sex!

Maybe it's an experiment to see how distracted the mods are with their travel and to case the joint for the mother of all bad questions or posts.

I would receive an F, because the last book I read for pleasure was Neil Stephenson - and I kinda hate him. There, I said it! SUCK IT METAFILTER, SUCK IT

Blaneyphoto wins this thread.
On another note, the last book I was assigned for school that felt like something I'd actually read was Everythin Bad Is Good For You by Steven... Johnson?I think that's right. And yes, I got an A on that paper.

dammit, why didn't I think of that?
Will posts in deleted questions go in my stats? Am I messing up my answers:favourites ratio?

annalem - here's the policy on "chatfilter", if you're unfamiliar with it (that's why people are reacting weirdly to your question. also people not noticing the question in the title.)

Me too! The rush of "will mt comment get posted before the question is deleted?" is a fun game.
