how to find out who was supposed to go to jury duty yesterday?

Let's say a friend of mine was on telephone stand by jury duty in New York, and forgot to call Wednesday evening to see if she needed to report for Thursday. Cached through google search, are the ranges that were supposed to report Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but not for Thursday August 21, 2008. How can this friend check to see if she was supposed to report yesterday?

Today, the website only has the info for today http://www.nyjuror.gov/countyinformation/?queens, and that number range is higher than her number.

Obviously nothing she can do about it now if she was supposed to go in yesterday, but it would take a load off her mind to know that she did not have to report, and did not shirk her civic duty.

She is trying to figure out if she should just call and ask to see if her number was supposed to report in yesterday, and hope that she was of the hook, but risk finding out that she was supposed to report in, and is now in trouble.

Best answer: If she's "in trouble", then making the phone call probably wouldn't change the fact, or make it easier for them to find her. Sometimes we just have to resort to using the stupid phone.

Best answer: I made the same mistake, though admittedly in rural Oregon and not in New York. I called and admitted my error, and the woman who handled the call acted like it happens all the time. She just put me in the pool for a future date. I say just call and ask.
