A warm place to spend a winter month away

Looking for somewhere I can spend either January or February. My body does bad in the cold and I want to spend a month somewhere warm enough to swim. More below:

Pre-Covid I enjoyed places like Merida in Mexico and would consider there again, but ideally would prefer somewhere a little closer to an ocean. I will be fully boosted and in the first three month window, so I'm less worried about Covid than normal, but still don't want to stay in a hotel unless it's a place with separate bungalows. Airbnbs are fine.

Looking for US, Mexico, or Caribbean; disabled-friendly (not a chaotic city with crowded sidewalks); safe; calm but not totally isolated; near ocean (ideally no huge waves or riptides); good and available food. Ideally <3-4k for the month (not including expenses); newly disabled so would pay more for convenience.

West coast of Puerto Rico? Pretty good base of expats in Rincon. You'd need a car though, I think. I've been there twice in winter and paid $100-$125 a night for an AirBnB. Renting for a month, you could probably get a decent discount.

My wife is solar powered, like you, and is planning to spend the month of March on Culebra, a smaller island just off the coast of Puerto Rico. It might be more isolated than you want, but she got a 4-bedroom house for the whole month for $1,800.
