My kid was in a Japanese re-enactment drama. It showed on TBS in Japan and I'd really like to see it! Can you help me figure out how to?

Japan has some really fun reality type shows which are basically a re-enactment of an event out of the news and then commentators reacting. We felt like it would be a fun experience and sent in a picture after a modeling agency sent out a call and we were selected! It ended up being a very long and unfun day where I was minorly concerned we'd miss the last train. I would be so appreciative if I could figure out how to watch it or even get a copy so she would have a very unique memory of her time in Japan to look back at.

It aired not that long after she shot and I missed it. I suppose it probably plays in rebroadcast but I don't know how to figure out when it will replay. This is the episode in question, her's was the last story in the episode about the adoptive parents vs birth parents. I THINK, this write up links to the episode on a Japanese streaming service, Pavari. I can't download Pavari because at home network thinks I am in Japan. If I use a desktop and try to set up Pavari with a VPN. I get stuck entering all my information in Hiragana. My phone has a hiragana keyboard, but not my computer.

Any ideas are welcome to my next steps! I am still in Japan, but my movement are limited due to our modified SIP still in effect. I imagine downloading Pavari in a Starbucks out in town might work when I go back out. I have some time to keep poking at this till it works. THANKS!

Response by poster: I missed that we don't have an edit window anymore. I meant to say that our home network does NOT think we are in Japan.

I am in Japan, but not super savvy with TVs and technology. If you or someone tells me how, I'll try recording it via browser (no TV).

This probably isn't the answer you were looking for but could you not either install a hiragana keyboard on your computer, or use your phone to type up all the relevant information and copy/paste?

It's pretty easy to type hiragana from a PC keyboard, although you probably have to install a bit of software. Search on "hiragana from English keyboard" or something similar.

Where in Japan is "modified SIP still in effect"? I certainly haven't noticed anything like that in Tokyo.
