Where can I find this narwhal mug?

I really want to acquire a copy of this mug. Asking the Instagram poster hasn't garnered any responses; anyone have better sleuthing skills than me? I'm guessing from the details that it's a handmade ceramics piece.

You did not ask for alternatives but in case it is useful, here is a different handmade narwhal mug.

Response by poster: Glinn and mattdidthat, I... actually already own both of those alternative mugs. I'm both a narwhal enthusiast and a ceramics enthusiast, what can I say... so I'm looking for this specific mug.

I'll try calling them and see if I get anywhere!

Three weeks ago they called it part of their private collection were going to "try to figure out where we originally got it." If they've got a source, please let us know!

Response by poster: I called the first number and they said "one of the owners had it as a gift" and didn't know where it was from. The mystery continues!

Best answer: I emailed the restaurant and got a reply that said that it was just something they had at home and that he thinks they might've gotten it at Cracker Barrel a long time ago. So it looks like EBay might be your best bet!

Best answer: Here's an Ebay listing, at a high price, but available.

Best answer: Discontinued, along with other nifty narwhal-themed kitchen items. (Christmas ornament and plush toy still available.) Create an eBay saved search?

Response by poster: OMG, y'all are amazing. I just bought the cheapest eBay listing, which is pretty reasonably priced considering how much it costs to ship heavy fragile items in the post. Thank you everyone!

What a great thread! I was sure that it was hopeless after you called the restaurant and they couldn't tell you. Dramatic turnaround!

I love every part of this thread, especially that serelliya already has the other 2 narwal mugs. And the happy ending! Best of MeFi <3
