WIEDEMANN TURRET PUNCH PRESS problem- work clamps not working
February 22, 2013 8:50 AM   Subscribe

We have an old turret punch (1528 Wiedematic) & the work clamps aren't functioning. Have plenty air pressure. Foot micro switch makes clicking sound when you press it to release solenoid. Suspect it is the solenoid switch itself, but can't find where this switch is located. Can hear it, can't find it. Any ideas?

if it is a "A1528" that would be a Murata Machinery WIEDEMANN TURRET PUNCH PRESS.
from the Murata Machinery USA, Inc website:

you might give them a call...

Response by poster: Finally found the switch & all it needed was lubricating. A wee drop of oil did the trick!
