What not to fry...

Reuniting power supplies and equipment

We just moved. And in so doing, we packed up various pieces of electronics and their power supplies in boxes. My Kensington sd200v has become separated from its power supply. We have lots of power supplies, several of which could fit. Worse, the sticker on the bottom that describes voltage, current, etc. is missing.
Kensington website does not specify the voltage in the specs for the product. Having just fried a 1Tb Barracuda by trial and error, I'm not about to do the same again...
If you have a Kensington sd200v (pictures here), can you please take a look at the label on the bottom and tell me what voltage and current it specifies for the power supply?

If you can't figure it out any other way, sort the power supplies with a plug that fits by increasing voltage and start trying out. You will almost certainly find the right one before frying your equipment.

Response by poster: @Dr Dracator: bitter experience leads me to question this approach... :(
[As a sidenote, if anyone has a 1Tb Barracude controller-board which still works...]

Best answer: This photo of the sd200v power adaptor may help narrow things down.

Best answer: This review has a picture of one with the power supply next to it. It doesn't have a label on the bottom!

In these situations I usually search eBay for the product or for "product name+ replacement adapter" and look at the pictures/specs.

Response by poster: @Behemoth, @fake: you nailed it. I had been trying to find such a picture without success, and this matches exactly a lonely adapter in my box of adapters. Thanks so much!

Barn door after the horse left comment:
I label my power supply with what it is paired with when I unbox them.
