Short films on Netflix.

What are the best short films available on Netflix streaming?

By sheer dumb luck, last night I stumbled upon "Genesis" by Nacho Cerda on Netflix on-demand. Which made me realize, I've never explored short films on the service.

So, what are the best of the best short films on Netflix instant? Not looking for films like "Genesis," specifically, just any great short films currently available for streaming.

Cool Air is a well done adaptation of one of my favorite Lovecraft stories.

Not on instant, but the yearly compilations of Academy Award-nominated shorts are almost always worth watching. 2005 2006 2007. If you've got a plan that mails DVDs, all three are very highly recommended if you enjoy short films.

I don't know if it qualifies as a "short" (it's more like 3 episodes) but Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is awesome!

1) Maya Derren: Experimental Films

2) The Short Films of David Lynch

Another Nacho Cerda short film, Aftermath, is also available on streaming. It's part of his Trilogy of Death that includes Genesis. Warning: not easy to watch. AT ALL.
