KODAK i220 scanner software: can any of you fine meta-types point me in the direction of the download for the operating software for this piece of hardware? I live in the UK and have Vista as an o/s. I have tried googling but could only find an upgrade, and an email to Kodak has gone unanswered. I have borrowed this scanner from a relative who is currently contracting in Australia, so I can't just pop round and collect the original disc.

I was unable to find the i220 scanner model at all, but here's the driver download page (including vista 32bit support) for the universal driver for the i200 range of scanners.

On the off chance that it's actually an i1220 scanner, here's the download page for that too.

Aaand after thinking about it again, I realise you may be looking for the Kodak Capture scanning utility rather than drivers. This is the free capture lite version; an upgrade to the capture pro version is only available via Kodak Support as far as I can tell, and is not free.

Honestly I've never liked the scanning software that comes with scanners. I just use the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizzard.

vuescan may support it - free download to give it a try and then it costs money for the real version.
