MAKE me bedazzled!

I would like to make my iPosture which I want to wear as a medallion resemble something of an actual medallion instead of a medical device.

I considered spray-painting it black but I suspect once I do that I won't like how it looks. The other idea I had was to find something on the net and print it out onto a sticker to apply to the face of the device.
I have no 'jewelery making' experience. What other ways of decorating something might there be? ...bedazzler?
I am generally looking to make it not something eye catching or flashy hence my original idea of making it all black, but just not something that is "Medical Device White".

(For those curious, IMO the device does what it is supposed to: correcting posture requires sustained mental effort to remember to stand up straight and sustained physical effort to continue to stand up straight even though it may make your muscles fatigued. The device takes the first element off your mind so to speak.)

It might be worth checking with the manufacturers or your doctor if attaching things to the outside of it will affect its performance.

That said, could you find a locket large enough and place it inside?

What about some silvery metallic paint? (After making sure that paint will not damage it!)

They make kits to 'bling up' one's mobile phone. That means you could put a whole bunch of little gems on it and make it look ridiculous. I think your best way to dress it up is to hide it behind another, flat pendant. Possibly someone could make something in metal or glass that would be almost L shaped, allowing the device to hide behind it and the pendant (metal or glass piece) to lay flat against it.

Best answer: I think you need a beader to treat it like a cabochon and create a beaded bezel for it. Here are a few examples of what I mean:

Fossil necklace

Medallion styled

Several different types

or if you prefer, there's macrame

You could request custom work by using Etsy's alchemy feature or ask a seller whose work you admire. Or if you're crafty, do it yourself.

I don't think it will function correctly if it's allowed to move independent of your body, the way a medallion would.

Response by poster: Interesting suggestions... If I figure out how to make it work for me I will post what I did in here...

sez here you can wear it as a necklace or clipped to your shirt, so macrame or beads should be fine.

Response by poster: Well I spraypainted it black and got some hemp twine and made a necklace out of it. I laid the device on its back and spraypainted the top of it and there was one spot that the paint wasn't sticking to (should have cleaned it first) so I gave it a few more sprays than I would have otherwise, and when it was dry I found that the button no longer 'clicked'. The button still works but it just doesn't click. Also I've been finding that wearing it as a necklace rather than on the inside of my shirt its harder to actually notice when it vibrates. It may be that I need to change the batteries, and I may weigh it down with some beads to either side but that is another issue...
