I feel certain that this is not a Galago, and I'd say that weapons-grade pandemonium could well be right.

weapons-grade-pandemonium has it.

I'm going with brushtail possum as well, here's another picture that resembles yours.

Definitely a possum (Australian, not US). Although as I said on the last thread where this came up, they're usually flatter and with more tire marks when I see them.

Previously. The same photo, even.

Yep, looks like a possum. Whether it's cute or not depends if you're from Australia or New Zealand :-)

Possum.
Even though they are a ravening pest destroying our native forests and harbouring TB, they are still cute, and excellent pets when acquired as babies. (All-I-Want-Is-To-Live-In-Your-Shirtpocket-And-Eat-Rosepetals pets). Let me post you a boxful.

Stephen, Shelley, we may have found the export business to save us from the recession?

Yeah, a bush baby or a possum

Note that Catch is from NZ and possums are not a native species. Here in Victoria the Leadbeater possum is almost extinct - not helped by the recent bushfires.

No, it's not a loris. Seriously. Find a zoologist to referee and I'll bet any sum you like. It's a possum.

Not just any mammal, that there is a marsupial! I encountered one of these in a city park in Sydney, it was nowhere near as cute as this one and actually looked pretty creepy, especially since I couldn't recognize what it was (being only a visitor to Australia and not a native).

That's no mammal. It is in fact a possum, and I would say some sort of brushtail possum at that. I have these guys using my roof as a highway for most of the year, and trust me, it aint cute.

ummm... Unless I'm missing a joke here, marsupials are mammals too.
