Streaming music to Xbox 360

NewXboxExperienceFilter: How can I change the music I am listening to without going back to the dashboard?

With the old dashboard you could access any of the music you wanted and switch albums or tracks as you pleased without exiting out of a game. I can't figure out how to do this with the NXE. Did they remove this feature?

For the record I am streaming mp3s from my MacBook Pro using Connect360.

Best answer: Hit the guide button on the controller; move right to the "music" mini-blade. The line right under the track control buttons (the skips, play/pause, volume slider button, etc.) which has the title if playing, or "select music" if nothing, is what you want. That lets you select the new tracks as normal.

... you have to have started the music first, before starting the game too.

Correction to above: the guide-blade is "media," not "music."

You can do that at any point in the game. You don't have to start playing it before the game.

Response by poster: Ugh, so in other words it's exactly the same as before... thanks! I was accidentally clicking "Music Library", dunno why.
