What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.

A terrible, terrible choice of name.

I've never been much for internet personas. Never really creative enough to have an interesting internet name.

PWA_ was a silly StarCraft "clan" that consisted of a bunch of high school friends who had moved on to university. "BadBoy" sounded cool to me at the time.

So when MeFi came about, I had caught onto it pretty early, and stupidly enough just went with my silly StarCraft name.

So it sticks. Since I can't edit it. And I'm really too big of an elitist to get myself a new MeFi account (those large user #'s are so pedestrian... I still pride myself for being in the first 1.5 million ICQ users and having a 7 number ICQ account!)

Hopefully the persona/name hasn't detracted any from the debates at hand here.
