Who made this poem? I starts like this "Life is a song that begins with the word behold."

There's a recording of a little girl reciting it on the beginning of A Tour of Bridges by Die Hoffnung.

Behold the sun
behold the light
behold the sky
the sea
the earth, that, the people
that dog

etc

Where do you look up poems on the internet ?

The Columbia Granger's World of Poetry has hundreds of thousands of poems in its database. I looked up various parts of that phrase but unfortunately it didn't turn up.

I couldn't find a trace of this online. Are you sure it isn't just something written by the band, or a band-member's girlfriend, or something?
