Help me find my booze alternative

I'm trying to locate a non-alcoholic drink I had at a wedding several years ago. It was called "Amie" and came in white and red varieties (being marketed, I believe, as a wine substitute).

Of course, it tasted nothing like wine but it sure did taste GOOD. As I recall, it had a vague fruity flavour and I'm sure it included schizandria, elder-flower and a variety of other ingredients, possibly including green tea and jasmine flowers. It had a slight peach flavour and wasn't TOO sweet, which is why I liked it so much. If memory serves, it was a sparkling drink.

So, does anyone know where I can find it (if it still exists)? And, if it doesn't exist anymore, can anyone suggest a substitute (available in Australia) or recipe?

Google has produced only passing references to it, which is very frustrating.

It's Amé, and sadly it's been discontinued. I agree, it (the white at least) was great.

Response by poster: mkultra: what a bugger, but thanks for giving me the correct name.

brautigan: aha! That appears to be the new incarnation. I shall be sampling it as soon as I can get into town to find it.

In the mean time, I guess I'll have to see if I can make my own.

Amé is available in the UK, made by Britvic. That might help you track it down, or you could find a friendly pom to export some for you... (not worth it for a soft drink? I once flew to California with emergency rations of Robinson's Orange Squash. Sometimes, needs must).
