Trustworthy SmartPhone download site?

I just got a new Cingular 3125 SmartPhone; what is a trustworthy download site for apps and games? (More inside.)

By trustworthy, I mean there is some sort of mechanism in place to prevent malware that may steal data or harm the device or the device's performance in some way. By mechanism, I mean something like user-reviews or some sort of trustworthy certification (like WHQL and drivers, for example) process.

Also, any recommendations for apps/games would be welcome. Tales of woe are also welcome.

I've had lots of luck and goodness with GetJar. Goodies from independent developers. WAP site here.

Second Handango and Definitely recommend PDAphonehome. The forums are excellent and should have reviews of sites which are reputable as well as some links to freeware.

I have gained many great WM5 programs from the forums there. I think MS has some warning about the installer not being certified but I ignore this on my WM5 device as small developers cannot often afford the certification.

Do you have any specific programs you want vetted?
