Seeking turkey for two

I'm seeking Thanksgiving day take-out (or dine-in, if they have availability) recommendations in Philadelphia

As the title states, my husband and I will be spending Thanksgiving in Philadelphia and need to eat somewhere - we're staying in the Rittenhouse Square area but willing to travel a decent distance for any food that's worth it.

I've had several Resy alerts on for the past few weeks at a few highly recommended restaurants but so far no dice so I think I need a backup plan for take-out or an easier-to-get-into place. I love turkey and stuffing and would prefer something that's either a traditional thanksgiving menu or at least inspired by the traditional thanksgiving menu rather than being, like, regular Chinese take-out, but I'll take what I can get. If dining in, I'd prefer somewhere intimate and/or funky to somewhere large-scale like Fogo de Chao that will presumably be filled with families, but again, I recognize I may not get to be picky here. Great desserts are a big plus.

We'll be in a hotel with no good way to heat food, so those take-and-reheat catering menus unfortunately won't work (which is too bad, because several of these options look amazing).

Barbuzzo, a pretty good restaurant with a legendary salted caramel budino dessert, is doing preorders for turkey, sides, and budino (you have to order the budino separately and you should). Go here and choose Thanksgiving 2023 preorder.

We have gotten served-hot takeout Thanksgiving from the Logan Hotel (Urban Farmer) for several years now. Crazy good cornbread stuffing. 100% recommend. They also have the meal at the restaurant.

The Philadelphia Inquirer recently published a list of restaurants doing dine-in service on Thanksgiving. Of the places listed, I've previously loved (non-Thanksgiving) meals at Tela's, Scannicchio's, Fork, and Co-Op. Scannicchio's stands out a bit from the others: it's a very South Philly Italian spot, that my family has used for a few special occasions and adored. If you hit a paywall or have other questions, memail me or I can reply in-thread!

My ex and I used to spend Thanksgivings in Philadelphia, and a few years ago we had a very delicious Thanksgiving meal at Square 1682, very close to Rittenhouse Square.

I agree with @knile's recommendation for Scannicchio's. We've gotten Thanksgiving meals from them a few times and were always really satisfied. They've got turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, veggies, cranberry sauce, raviolis...it's a wonderful and filling combo.

Hope you enjoy your time in Philly!
