Tips using Zwift with Schwinn IC4

I bought a Schwinn IC4 stationary bike and signed up for Zwift. Any tips on getting the most out of Zwift? One question I have: since the Schwinn has a manual resistance knob, how do I know when to adjust this when I'm using Zwift?

Zwift and spin-style bikes don't really work together that well, because the fixed-gear nature of a spin bike doesn't replicate the road bike experience of Zwift.

But, if you have a power meter and want to go for it, you can. It doesn't really matter when you adjust the manual resistance knob in that case, because all that matters to Zwift is how much power you're putting out at any given time. The game will do the math to convert that power number, and your weight, and the game's incline level to speed. If you want it to feel somewhat like you're riding in the game, you should adjust the knob to higher resistance when the incline percentage in the upper right of the Zwift screen gets higher.

I have the IC4, and bowbeacon's recommendation tracks with my experience. There's a subreddit!
