Shoe me, please

I have bought a jumpsuit. It’s not my color. It’s not really my style. But I like it anyway. I cannot find a link to the jumpsuit I bought, which I got on sale, and apparently no longer exists online. I did find something else which has the same basic cut, and leg length. I am not a sandal nor heels person. Note: this jumpsuit is made in a brown plaid fabric (kind of like this). Can I just wear sneakers?

I see just about anything paired with sneakers. Athleta runs a little on the athletic side, here's a similar example.

Converse-style also seems like a good pairing as well as sandals similar to Birkenstock or a little dressier or even just flip flops.

Depends on where you want to wear it. I would say clogs would go better than sneakers, or if sneakers, then more the sort of boot kind.

Yes! I'd totally wear a jumpsuit like that with white sneakers (I like Stan Smiths) or with ankle booties (no need for a heel.)

You can definitely wear sneakers! I'd go with white sneakers like rabbitbookworm linked to, or something like the Kizik Prague or Allbirds Piper. I wear those with skirts and dresses all the time.

haha. Since COVID, I have not cut my hair, worn a bra or high heels. I wear sneakers with absolutely everything until Birkenstock season arrives and I wear sandals with everything. Sometimes in winter I wear Uggs.

Very Young People I know who are very trendy also wear sneakers/sandals/Uggs with everything. That is my excuse. But we don't need an excuse.

That all said, those Young People give their sneaks a lot of attention and there are a lot of styles out there. I love these, they are so comfortable. But they are a bit hard to get on and off, I carry a little shoe horn with me.

For one level up from sneakers, I'd go with a nude flat, like this. In a color that coordinates with the brown tones of your jumpsuit.

I agree that I'd pair a jumpsuit of that style and print with some low profile white sneakers of some sort.

White sneakers are super popular right now, so I say go for it. I'd be inclined to wear it with flat ankle boots (sorta like refined combat boots).

I have a jumpsuit sort of like this! I wear it with Keds-ish sneakers or converse low tops most of the time. I’ve worn it with ankle boots a couple of times but I think sneakers are better.

There's a menswear-ish vibe to the fabric you linked that made me think about oxfords or delicate loafers? Something like this seems like it would be so chic but also comfy (I'm not recommending that specific one - it's probably not-great fast fashion, just offering it to show the gist.)

It's the jumpsuit's job to suit you. You shouldn't have to worry about conforming to the jumpsuit.

These knit flats are suprisingly comfortable and could be a slightly dressier option.
