How to find a babysitter in the Puget Sound area?

Can anyone recommend where to find a regular babysitter in King County, Washington? I'm looking for a babysitter to watch 2 preschoolers about 8 hours a week total.

We don't know anyone local with small kids so I can't ask this question in real life.
I haven't had any luck with sites like Care.com or with Facebook groups (but I might be in the wrong Facebook groups). I'm willing to pay market rate and I'm not asking for any special qualifications.
Appreciate any ideas for places to look!

Best answer: I've had very good luck with Urban Sitter. You can sign up and then cancel once you've found someone regular.

My experience with care.com was awful

When my 24 year old was a baby we posted on colleges job boards. Wikipedia lists the colleges and universities in King County Washington.

Best answer: 1. A friend recently told me that Urban Sitter is the best option in the area among such sites.
2. The Seattle Parent/Nanny Village group on Facebook is really active, in case you haven't found that one.
3. Not sure of the boundaries, but you might see if Spilt Milk Nannies meets your needs.
