Downloading messages from Nokia phone to Mac via Bluetooth

Can I download/backup messages (SMS/MMS) from my Nokia 6680 to my Mac via Bluetooth?

I have a Nokia 6680 which has a few hundred text messages (SMS) and multimedia messages (MMS) on it. They're stored on the memory card, not on the internal phone memory.

I'd like to download these to my Mac via Bluetooth, for backup purposes. If I can view them on the Mac too, that'd be a bonus.

I'm already using iSync to sync contacts/calendars, and Sailing Clicker to do whizz-bang remote control stuff, but I can't find anything message-related in either of those. I've also tried simply browsing the device using the Bluetooth File Exchange app, but it just doesn't show any files.

I'm also vaguely aware of the Nokia PC Suite for Windows. I have a PC I can run this on if necessary. But I don't know whether it'll do what I want, and I'm a bit worried about it conflicting with iSync if I have both set up.

Any ideas/experience?

I bought BluePhoneElite back when I was using a Moto phone that wasn't supported in iSync yet. It works great on my current SE phone.

It looks like from the comments, it has issues with SMS and your phone though. It might be able to do what you need it to do until it is re-written, but you can always d/l and give it try.

Nokia's PC software does a lot of Symbian OS voodoo that's not supported outside of their proprietary software. I have a 6600 and some of that functionality just isn't available outside of the PC software as far as I've determined. Your best bet may be to backup to a PC. A warning, though: backup over bluetooth can take forever.
