Puerto Rico Drag Scene

Daydreaming about a visit to Puerto Rico in January (pandemic permitting, the fantasy is that travel is very safe in all ways,) to enjoy the tourist sites, warmth and some of the PR queens that have been on Drag Race or their drag children. I am interested in post covid PR travel advice and PR drag scene advice specifically.

I can't comment on the drag scene. I have just returned from PR, however.

Currently, if vaccinated, you can travel freely, though you need to upload and carry your vaccination card. They check everyone prior to leaving the airport. Non-vaccinated must have test prior to going, than test and quarantine. And test before leaving.

PR is being generally safe, from my experience. Restaurants rope off the door, so you have to wait to get in. Masks are in use fairly regularly. Hotel sprayed down baggage and asked for cards before entry, and walking around hotel required masks, though once sitting at the bar or restaurant, you could take them off. Seating was distanced.

We stayed out in Rincon, but spent a day in San Juan, and behavior was fairly consistent. Some bars actually tested temps before letting people in. Masks were in widespread use.
