Noob-friendly RDR2 Online server?

I want to play RDR2 because I love the scenery, the Old West, and horses. I am abysmal at actually playing games (aiming, dodging, shooting, navigating complex menus, etc). I don't like being griefed and pvp. Are there any servers you can suggest for a little old lady noob? Thanks!

Are you aware of the single-player component of RDR2? You don't have to deal with other players if you don't want to, you can just explore the countryside.

Response by poster: I was under the impression that if you play the base game, you have to play as a male character who has a set storyline that you have to follow, and that doesn't really interest me.

Response by poster: Also, not to threadsit, but I'd like to meet other players, I'd just prefer to find a group where there's other people who like horseback rides and less "lol i kild u"

There are no official private lobbies in Red Dead Online, not that I know of. So if you play you won’t be able to choose where you land and thus be open to potential griefing (there are no option to really avoid pvp in the game unfortunately). If you’re looking for a private server you need to search in the hacker/modding scene to see if someone has managed to run a private instance of the game, but I’m not even sure that exist.

I love RDR2's single player mode, but yes, you're correct: You play as a male character with a set storyline. There's a lot of open world exploration around the storyline, which makes it feel very free compared to many games, but ultimately you're asked to follow a set story.

I'm a middle-aged woman who is not into PVP (had my fill of that in the early naughts), MeMail me :)

Oh, and even though you have to play a set story as a male character, the single player story of RDR2 is absolutely worth playing.
