food show guy with hilarious southern expressions?

a few years ago i was over at my aunts house and some food show came on where the talent/talking heads was a food guy with a heavy southern accent and an endless supply of colorfully worded expressions about food and life. He wore kind of flamboyant suit jackets as i recall and my aunt said he had maybe one some kind of food show talent search? white guy, brownish redish hair maybe a goatee but i could be wrong about the details of his hair and facial hair. He was so funny! My aunt has no idea who i am talking about. Perhaps you do?
