Challenge me

Tomorrow is April 1. I would like to start a 30 day fitness challenge. Tell me about one you did and liked!

What it says on the tin. If you completed and saw benefits from a 30 day fitness challenge, what was it? And what was good about it? There are a million out there so I'm looking for very specific recommendations. Caveat: for obvious reasons, it must be something I can do at home. Thanks!

Yoga with Adriene (first!) There are a bunch of 30-day playlists. It's not the most challenging workout, but it has done wonders for my balance, core and mental health. We did Home starting January 1 and it stuck, we are still hanging with Adriene daily two months later.

I've been doing Athena's Playbook on darebee.com, and have been really enjoying it. It's a 30 day program with a good mix of cardio, strength, and stretching which can be done at home with no equipment. The routines take ~20 minutes on average and leave me decently sweaty and with the feeling of having worked out (and sometimes really sore the next day!). A lot of the cardio days are "combat" days where you punch or kick the air, which has been oddly therapeutic.

I did seven straight months of Yoga with Adriene last year. She is amazing!

Right now I'm doing the 30 Day plank challenge. With my current fears over the state of the world, that's all I can manage right now. Its about 6 minutes of exercise a day, but it FEELS like I'm getting stronger so that makes me happy.

I love Convict Conditioning. It works you through the most basic of physical movements and builds up to stunning achievements (like handstand push-ups!) through only bodyweight training.

If you challenged yourself to move toward the feats by running a a gradually advancing circuit each day, you'd find yourself stronger, and maybe with a couple new tricks.
