Best places to get bakery boxes made from plant fiber?

My wife started a bakery this year and has worked really hard at getting earth-friendly packaging. One thing she's had the hardest time finding, though, is cake boxes. She's hoping for a variety of sizes. She would like to find something made from plant fiber (like sugar cane) because she likes that it's more easily renewable than trees, for example. Does anyone have any ideas?

Would she consider just using boxes made from recycled card stock? That's going to be a lot easier to find.
I think the transport of sugar cane based card stock from significantly far away would have significant environmental impact, so a recycled paper box that is more local may be better environmentally overall in any case.
Many of the compostable, etc food service containers have turned out to be not so great, so I wouldn't get too hung up on relatively new materials that people are selling as more eco-friendly. A lot of this has turned out to be more marketing bullshit than environmental reality.
