Discount contacts website, without a prescription?

Hi all. Probably two years ago I ordered Acuvue moist contacts online from a dodgy website where I typed in my prescription info but didn’t need to upload the actual script. Fast forward, I just used my last pair and I want to order more, but I can’t find the site for the life of me.

The contacts are totally legit but the box has Chinese characters all over it. Any leads?

(Please refrain from telling me I should order contacts from a proper website or go to an eye doctor.)

Did you perhaps get an order conformation email that you may still have somewhere? That's how I find most sites back, years after buying from them.

Response by poster: Believe me, searching my email is the only way I remember any of my transactions. Unfortunately I deleted all relevant emails in a fit of Marie kondo.

You probably paid with a credit card, check your statements. And check your spam, maybe they're emailing spam reorder requests.

Best answer: I don't know if you have Facebook. If so, you might want to check out the links in this post. The author lists a number of online contacts suppliers with a note about whether or not they verify the prescription when you order. Maybe the one you previously ordered from is on there?

I don't suppose you're in Canada? I get mine from contactsexpress.ca. Do some sites actually require a scan of your prescription though? I've ordered glasses and contacts from multiple places over the years and none of them needed anything but the numbers.

I’ve never had my prescription verified on UK sites. I use Lenstore.co.uk and it looks like they ship internationally.

Best answer: I recently used visiondirect.co.uk. No prescription needed, no hassle, it was great.

I’ve heard podcast ads for Simply Contacts, which supposedly have an app that will test your eyes and sell you contacts based off the result.
