Old-Timey Green Visor - Where to Buy Online?

You know those transparent green visors accountants and editors wore once upon a time? I'd like to buy one, and I'm having trouble finding a good candidate.

My supervisor does editorial work (among his many other responsibilities). He's definitely a hat guy with a wry sense of humor, so I think he'd appreciate one of those green eyeshades. (He also worked at a magazine for over ten years, so he's got bona fides in the publication world.)

My Google-fu has been weak on this score. So far I've just seen cheap costume ones on Amazon and eBay. Anyone know where online I can buy one of those visors that looks decent?

Search for casino visor or dealer's visor. That would come closest. Try the Vermont Country Store as we get closer to summer for one that may have a woven material -- used as a sun visor. My dad had a sun hat with such a visor.

For the real thing, made back in the day, keep an eye on Ebay for something like "vintage green visor". They do come up occasionally.

Best answer: This one at least doesn't have the top projection that some of the "poker visors" do. Did a nice version of this ever exist? Looking at vintage bookkeeper photos on google, it seems like even the originals look pretty flimsy and disposable.

"Green eyeshade" appears to be the term of art. There are a few in Google shopping for less than a,sawbuck, but not vintage. I'd probably add the word "leather" to my searches if i wanted an authentic one.
