Accomplice NY or Sleep No More?

I'm in NYC today and can pick one of these immersive experiences to go to tonight. SNM sounds amazing but some reviews say it's crowded and not very well organized. Accomplice sounds like a lot of fun, although I prefer the 'dark' aesthetic of SNM. Ultimately, I just want a fun, unforgettable, immersive, experience where I'm not just being herded around following a bunch of actors. Which one have you preferred and why? Thank you!

Haven't heard of Accomplice, but I've attended Sleep No More. SNM totally does not herd you from scene to scene. In fact, I probably only saw two of the major scenes because of that. The rest of my time was spent ferrying items between two actors, which would trigger one on one scenes with me & them. That went on for basically the length of the evening. That could be seen as disorganized, but I loved the openess of the experience, overall.

You are absolutely not herded around at SNM. I missed some important stuff I'm sure, but I also made it to an insane scene that nobody else in my party saw. Meanwhile my wife had been shown behind a false wall and got a one-on-one experience with an actor for a while (PG rated, obviously).

I've had really excellent experiences with Sleep No More. There are definitely crowds, but they tend to gravitate toward certain characters, so you can avoid them if you want to. The whole thing is deliberately unstructured, which may be what people mean by disorganized, but it does mean that you won't be herded around. Feel free to memail me if you want some tips for seeing cool stuff at SNM.

If you do decide to go to SNM, try and get the earliest time slot available. It gives you more time to explore.

I have been to Sleep No More twice and highly recommend it. You won't be herded around; there's no one to herd you.

I also missed some main plot scenes because they were crowded and I wandered away, but i don't think it diminished the experience. There's lots to see.

Agree that earliest time slot is best, but I showed up 20 minutes earlier than my slot and got right in, so don't let a later time deter you.

Response by poster: Unfortunately, the only time slot open is the 11 pm, which is the latest. :(

Just show up at 10:15. I suspect they won't make you stay out on the street, especially if you're just one person.

SNM is pretty trippy, I would be hard pressed to skip it given the opportunity to go (even a second time).

I am not familiar with Accomplice, but I thought Sleep No More was AMAZING. I would recommend it highly.
