Give me Liberty! Give me rug!

Where can I buy this rug? It is no longer for sale from the manufacturer, and I've struck out on Craigslist.

A few years back, CB2 by Crate & Barrel made a really cool rug. White, with black printing reading "Liberty" and "Justice" on it. I should have bought one, but it sold out. Now I would like to buy one, but I can't find it.

So my question is, as a person in the DC area without a car but with very specific tastes and a little disposable income, where are places I should be looking for this rug? I've tried Craigslist, eBay, and random Google searches. Are there other websites? Local stores that I could ask to keep a lookout for this specific item for me? Any other ideas? Thanks!

The rug might be too old, but there's a Crate and Barrel outlet store near me that often carries out of stock rugs. Otherwise, I would set up a Craigslist alert via IFTTT and give it a little more time. You could also maybe try reaching out to the designers (Aesthetic Movement) to see if they have any old samples...

This is not exactly what you're asking about, but if you can't find one to buy you could also try DIYing it, depending on where you fall on the desire-vs-craftiness spectrum. Fabric paint is a real thing, and even comes in spray cans; and there are plenty of online tutorials for adding design elements to rugs/carpets with paint.

You could get a plain cream rug and buy stencils for the letters, or create them from paper or cardboard.

Disclaimer: I've never done this myself, but it's been big in the DIY/craft world for the last few years. I can't speak to the durability of the paint or how soft it would be--I would think that a lower-pile rug (or even indoor/outdoor one, since the nap on them is generally lower or untrimmed) would work better for something like this.
