We would like to purchase a shikibuton (folding foam bed) somewhere in eastern Massachusetts this weekend.

I've searched the interwebs and can't find a local place that stocks them. I found a few that will custom order, but we'd really like to see what we're getting and also acquire it this weekend.

We're not sure what thickness and strongly prefer double or queen size.

We're in Lowell, MA and open to driving a few hours if need be.

Does Dream On Futon in Cambridge have what you need?

Response by poster: Doesn't look quite like what we're looking for. Here is what we're looking for:

I haven't seen anything like this in any of the Boston-area futon places. "Shikibuton" refers to all kinds of mattresses used in futon, not just the trifold foam style you're looking for, so if you call places I would encourage you to be specific to avoid wasting a trip.

Good luck! If you do decide to order from thefutonshop.com, you might want to take a look at their decidedly mixed reviews on Yelp!--people seem to have had some issues with both product quality and customer service.

The closest place I know is in New Hampshire. It's J-life International. Good luck finding a place though.
