Trying to rediscover a podcast.

Looking for a particular podcast I used to listen to, lost track of, then forgot the name of it or the people involved. It was by a man and woman, probably in their early to mid 30s. Friends, but not romantic (he was married). Funny, conversational, no set topic, but not necessarily a "comedy" podcast. Popular enough to have t-shirts for their show.

Once in a while they would interview people they were fans of. I think one time they had on one of the You Look Nice Today guys. Also other Twitter-based funny personalities. The only guest I remember by name is Joshua Allen. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Response by poster: Unfortunately no...they were popular, but not that popular, which is why I'm not hopeful that I'll ever find these guys again!

Ask Joshua, he's MetaFilter's Own™ #1477.

Your description reminds me of Pop My Culture, but I don't think they've had those guests. I tried searching the iTunes Store for the guests you mention but I haven't found a podcast to match your description.

Response by poster: I suspect this is not one I'm going to find -- the podcast probably doesn't even exist anymore -- but I sincerely appreciate your effort.

Was it Too Beautiful to Live? I don't know about Joshua Allen, but they did interview the You Look Nice Today guys.

If that's not it, it sounds very similar so you may like it too!

Best answer: Your question has been eating at me all day, so I just scrolled through three years of Fireland archives on my phone to come back, Odysseus-style, with this answer: Arrive Having Eaten.
