When will [movie] next be shown on TV?

"When will [movie] next be shown on TV?" - is there a TV guide service (with UK listings) that will either tell me the answer to questions like these, or send me an alert when it knows the answer?
I have a subscription TV package with way more channels than I can keep tabs on. There are also a bunch of movies I'd sort-of kind-of like to see one day, but I can wait (so not really worth buying or renting). I'm hoping there is something that links up my hypothetical wishlist with TV listings and email alerts.

I don't know if this is the same in the UK as in the US, but most cable providers here have a "search" feature under the Guide button on your remote. You can search for the movie name and it will give you a list of all scheduled showings, listing the time and channel.
