A friend is looking for a five-paragraph essay that instructs the reader on how to write a five-paragraph essay. My Google-fu has failed me in this self-referential task. Can you help?

From my friend: "When I was in 7th grade, I had a teacher hand out a five paragraph essay about How to Write a Five Paragraph Essay. It was genius in its simplicity. The introduction introduced the paper, the three middle paragraphs were about the intro, the body and the conclusion respectively, and the conclusion wrapped it up. Does anyone know where to find a copy of that essay? It should be a staple for any teacher who teaches about five paragraph essays. Anyone?"

Another version.

This is quite easily googleable, by the way. Just search 'how to write an essay five paragraph structure'.

Best answer: Here's one. It seems that people use the term "meta-essay" to describe an essay about writing essays.

Response by poster: Happy Dave: Thanks for the links. I think my buddy was able to find info on writing five-paragraph essays. The problem is finding a five-paragraph essay about writing five-paragraph essays. Your second link is closer than the first, but even it doesn't really follow the five-paragraph style.
