Source for die-cut felt?

Can anyone recommend a source for die-cut felt? I'm hoping to get some small (~5" on the longest side) flag shapes cut (and, ideally, printed on). The shape is just irregular enough for it to be annoying for me to do myself in any larger quantity. However, I don't want thousands of these things. 250-500 is what I'm looking for. I'm finding a lot of industrial sources for die-cut felt, but I'm hoping someone has a good recommendation for a company or better search terms... ?

I wonder if you could do it with one of the laser cutters everyone in the "maker" community seems to have these days. 250-500 pieces seems too small for a custom die to be cost effective.

Here's a random Google located tutorial.

I was going to suggest laser ot water-jet cutters as well. I've read that water-jets are often better than laser cutters for fabric; I guess they don't char or melt the edge.

But I wouldn't give up on die-cut without getting an actual quote from somebody. Sometimes that sort of thing is less expensive than I'd expect.

How much were you looking to spend? I know folks have used their Cricut (tutorial) or Accuquilt Go or Accuquilt studio to cut felt, if any of the stock shapes work.

Ponoko might work for you. There's no min order and they have a variety of felt colors.
