My parents are curious why the police had the northbound I-4 + on ramps closed in Orlando (until the turnoff for the airport) for 4 Mears buses on Dec. 31 at 2pm or so? Who was in them?

Best answer: I'm guessing by your description of northbound I-4 you mean I-4 (probably eastbound) through downtown, and by the turnoff to the airport you mean the 408?

Could it have been either of the teams in town for the Capital One Bowl, which was this morning? They've been traveling around town by bus with police escorts. If it was on 12/31, it probably had nothing to do with the truck that drove off an off-ramp near South Street.
