I’m in LA tonight, leaving tomorrow night. I would love to see some of the most exciting contemporary art showing there right now. What do you recommend?

My friend is a 22yo film/media student on exchange at UCLA and on the lookout for awesome things to do while she's there. Difficulty level: physical disability and uses crutches to get around. What are the best accessible places and activities that LA has to offer, apart from the obvious theme parks?

We've arrived in LAX a bit later than anticipated and it looks like the roads (particularly the 405 and 110) are already nightmarish. We thought we'd just take a cab but now I'm wondering if there are other alternatives we should consider. Public transit is great if it takes a little while longer, just not twice as long. And we're open to ideas like taking a cab for a couple miles at each end to catch public transit at the best spot. Suggestions?

I'll keep this brief. I'm currently visiting Los Angeles and would like to participate in the Women's March here on Saturday. I'm a tourist staying in Venice Beach with a rental car and a bike. What would be the best way to get downtown and back for the march? I've asked around and heard horror stories from last year about the transit options: impossible parking and traffic, trains too crowded to board, overstressed Uber and Lyft systems. Are there shuttles I should know about? Better times for the trains? Any ideas would be welcome! Thanks!
