My new landlord has told me he hates paper checks. I would love to pay my rent automatically and electronically each month. I have his routing and account number but cannot figure out how to pay him rent without one of us having to set up new accounts or pay fees. Any ACH/EFT experts in the house? [more inside]

Thinking of ditching Wells Fargo and consolidating all banking with a credit union. I already have a savings account at the CU - looking for some assurances that the shared services model with other credit unions works fine, as the CU is affiliated with my alma mater and is about 700 miles away. Mefites banking with a credit union that is not local - it it all really just as easy has having a bank branch nearby?

I want to order checks from a third party where it's not stupid expensive. There are blanks for "Bank Name" and "Bank Address" on the form. My bank is Wells Fargo (previously Wachovia, previously... etc.). Wells Fargo has many addresses--which one do I put here? (I do not have, and have never had, any Wells Fargo checks to compare to--my most recent checkbook was still Wachovia.)

My sister is having issues with her student loans through Wells Fargo. She has two student loans which appear on the same statement each month -- but Wells Fargo only applies her payment to one loan, and the other loan becomes delinquent. Wells Fargo just royally screwed me during one of the most difficult financial weeks of my life, putting me in a position where I won't even have food money or enough gas money to get to work -- until next TUESDAY! I'm spitting mad.
