Help: Sewing Pattern for Specific Jumper?

I saw this overall jumpsuit (or jumper?) and I desperately wish to recreate it, as closely as possible. I realize it's pants with added suspenders (all in chambray/denim) but I love the fit and flare of the bottoms. If anyone could lend advice or point me in a direction, that would be wonderful! I am somewhat of a beginner sewer - no experience with pants making. I have tried searching patterns online/in stores - found nothing remotely close. Help! Thank you!

Sorry about the crotch picture but I need mending advice

It's rare that my pants wear out in any way other than this - a failure along the seam of my, uh, inseam. I'm wondering if there's a practical way to patch it rather than toss the pants. [more inside]

Why'd I lend clothing to a man named Rip Torn?

I have several pairs of blue jeans which have ripped in the posterior section by the left pocket after about a year's worth of wear. Here's the damage: Pants #1 and Pants #2. My hackish, non-seamstress attempts at mending these rips utilized a needle and thread, repeating the stitch across the rip multiple times, but this repair tends to fall apart in the wash after a wearing or two. The jeans are otherwise in fantastic shape. I recall as a little kid deploying iron-on patches on the inside of ripped pants, but this didn't work so well and eventually came loose. Does anyone have strategies to get these rips effectively mended? I have a Jo-Ann Fabrics store on my corner where I can purchase supplies.

A denim rivet gun?

How can one make the studs often found in the corners of jeans’ pockets? A denim rivet gun (or something) exists, right? Are these studs different than eyelets? I apologize for the ignorance; this is a gift. Thanks.
