Can this cord be repaired?
Due to an unfortunate incident with an extension cord, the plug on my toaster oven has been destroyed. The cord is not detachable from the oven so I can't just order another one. Can this be fixed? What kind of place would fix it - small appliance repair? An electrician? What would be the ballpark cost?

Plug of War! Or why wiring in an old house is frusterating...
I've been living in a new house for about a month. It's an old New Orleans house, which in my previous experiences are wrought with bad wiring. For some reason, when I turn my ceiling fan on in the living room, about 1/10 times it turns off the outlet that my television is connected to. Another outlet has the WiFi connected to it, which doesn't go out. I've tried flipping the breaker and I'm at my wit's end! I currently can't turn on my TV or anything. Perfect comfortable earplugs for musicians?
I'm starting to get some ringing in my ears from various loud music/teaching/gigs/etc, and looking for earplugs that I can wear for hours at a time, with decently flat (i.e. not muffled) attenuation. I have these and they're great sound-wise, but uncomfortable long-term. Soft foam earplugs are comfy but too deadening & muffling. Any suggestions? Extra points for relatively invisible earplugs, so I don't have to explain myself 50 times a day.
How can I fix this bath drain plug?
My house came with a plug like this. A few weeks back my wife unscrewed it to remove some hair and now it won't go back. It won't screw to the threads in the drain.
It seems like the drain threads are slightly larger than the one in the plug. Maybe some adapter was there that fell into the drain? No idea.
I bought another plug from Lowes that looked slightly larger, but it didn't thread. How can I fix this without getting a plumber to visit?

The plug, the socket and the air conditioner
Window mounted air conditioner had a burned-up blade on the plug.
New replacement plug gets hot at the same blade.
New plug needs to be wiggled or the blades spread to make electrical contact in the socket.

Firstly, I apologize for asking about computer cooling, as I'm sure there are tons of questions about it, but my problem is with the specifics.
The fans in my gaming computer have been running much more lately, probably due to the warmer weather making my room quite hot. (My current fans are adequate, the computer's never been above 128f, they're just loud and high-pitched)
I salvaged 2 fans from older Dell desktops, but I'm pretty clueless about the many types of connectors involved. It looks like I'll be buying a fan controller, but first I need to know what connectors it needs to have.
In addition, I want to make sure that the added fans won't be too much for my power supply
