What is the best (and free'est) hit counter? I would like to be able to make it invisible to the surfer and have it collect statistics. Sitemeter used to be great but they are not around anymore it seems. They had statistics available so you could see who was at your site and which pages they were at, etc. Don't know how to do coding so I have no backend database or cgi, etc. experience...unless it is super easy to figure out or a stand alone java applet.

I'm starting a blog. I don't want a "whatever.blogspot.com", I want a www.whatever.com blog. Can I do this using such services as Blogger? Should I buy Movable Type? Does anyone wanna help??? HELP!!!

An adult neighbor/friend had his tonsils out, and he's in hella pain, despite ingesting many Lortab. It's been a week.

Sending in a resume today and they are asking for salary requirements. How do I word salary requirements in the cover letter? Is there any standard language used or convention to follow?

In less than a month, I've had Firefox crash on one machine -- a new G4 Powerbook relatively free from stuff like GUI mods, extra software, a million extensions, etc. -- more than 15 times. Usually, it's while doing something innocuous, like trying to open a new tab. I have the same problem on my G5.
