So my girlfriend has a bit of a thing for those 'worker' jeans they have at Gap. I'm quite happy for my jeans to be blue, personally, but apparently the rolled-in-mud look is what she likes, and I guess I should have at least one pair of jeans that she can stand. My question is: where might I get something like them without breaking the bank?

So, despite no one having told me this through high school, now that I'm in college I've been informed that everyone, everywhere, thinks I'm gay (and high school friends have confirmed this, now that I've asked). Men, women, doesn't matter. I am aware that I have a (very) slight lisp, which I hate because I can't control it (from birth). I am aware that I'm upbeat and tend to talk fast when excited. My body language is probably somewhat submissive, but I don't think it's THAT bad. I'm shy around a lot of women, don't make eye contact a lot, and a lot of guys don't like me because I'm not that into the "guy topics of conversation". Aside from, you know, how EFFING HOT random girl #43 is. (Cause she was!) The point is, I'm disturbingly straight and finding out what everyone really thinks has thrown me for a huge loop--not only am I being perceived as something I'm not, but it's also been (continually) detrimental to my success with women and social acceptance by guys... and I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

If Europeans were responsible for bringing chili peppers to countries renowned for their spicy cuisine(Korea, Thailand, etc.), why didn't the use of chili peppers become popular in European cuisine?

Last night I got into a discussion with the proprietor of our local pub. For years I have heard from various sources that certain pubs in the united states get their Guinness airlifted in from Ireland (or the U.K.). Now I don't mean specially airlifted, simply that it comes in the cargo hold of an aer lingus flight or some such to maintain the ultimate freshness. One person who told me this is my wife's (born in Dublin) friend who worked for Guinness. Now the proprietor insists this is not true and told me if I can prove it I can drink free Guinness in his pub for the rest of my life. I can not find any evidence of this on the Internet, can anyone provide any evidence for this?

I just got two root canals in the past month or so. First one was OK, tooth fractured after, but generally OK, it can be capped. Second one was behind it, i believe the first was #13 and second one was #14 behind it. It went fine...it feels maybe very very slightly sensitive, but i'll be damned, it's the next tooth behind it (#15 I assume?) that has been hurting (and which never had an RTC). It's been sort of very minor at times, then a little worse when I chew, and sometimes more moderate pain when I chew over the past two weeks. Past couple days it's started hurting more, kind of a dull ache, and hurts when I chew. Why would the tooth behind the root canal tooth hurt? Neither RTC teeth have been capped yet....
