Plus size overalls in fun colors

I love, love, love Universal Standard's overalls, but wish they came in more colors than blue and black. Do you know of any places to get cute plus-size overalls in fun colors? My size falls in the 16-20 range depending on cut (photo for scale).

What does this t-shirt logo mean?

I bought this t-shirt at a thrift store in Burien, WA a while back because I liked the logo, and was going to cut it up for another project that never happened. Now I might want to wear it, but realized that I should try to find out what it means before I wear it in public. Does anyone have an idea of what SBR or BSR is? [more inside]

A Glove Supreme

I've been unhappy with the fingerless gloves I've tried so far - mainly because they leave some of my fingers inadequately covered. I'm looking for suggestions for better ones. [more inside]

conceal my undereye circles

I have dark undereye circles (NOT a function of hydration, sleep, etc., anything solvable, please believe me and DON'T jump in with that.) I want to hear your tricks or best resources for actually hiding these. [more inside]

What are your go tos for higher quality but not super spendy men's basics? Tees, casual workshirts and work pants for someone doing a more manual labor type job, sweaters, sweatpants, socks, throw em all at me. Thanks!!

Replacement socks for Under Armour allseasongear brand?

Hi all, I bought these socks from a few years ago, but it looks like it has now been discontinued. It was the allseasongear brand. I liked them because it was a thick sock and kept my feet pretty dry compared to other brands. I asked UA if there was a replacement but they said no. Some of the other UA socks have this band around the arch area, but it's too tight around the feet and causes some discomfort, in addition to being thinner socks. [more inside]

Good Quality Slipper Socks in the UK

I'm finding it unreasonably hard to get good quality slipper socks. Can you give me any suggestions? In a perfect world they would be all (or mostly) natural fibers; durable; and available for purchase in the UK, where I live. At this point, I would probably settle for two out of three. Should I condition the leather of this ornament? How?

I inherited an ornament that is basically a tooled leather belt with bells on it, and the leather is looking worse for wear at 50+ years old. The back is just the suede side of the leather. Should I put leather conditioner/mink oil on it or is it too far gone? I like it but I don't plan to go to extraordinary measures to preserve it forever.

Fuzzy /cozy house slippers with support

I (size 8 womens, wide front/narrow heel) need some slippers to keep my feet warm when I'm in the house, but most of what I see online is either unlined/not the cozy winter gear I want or seems like it won't have any support (I see a lot of memory foam.) I tend toward plantar fasciitis so I want something with more structure. Suggestions? Especially inexpensive - I will be ordering online and I'd like something cheap enough that I will feel fine keeping even if it's not 100% perfect.

quarantine hair dye - covering grey in asian hair

I'm thinking of getting some sort of hair dye for an Asian friend who has been complaining about grey showing due to pandemic hair. What's the most reliable and simple way to dye the odd strand of grey back to dark black? I know nothing of hair dye but have heard that Asian hair is usually thicker and may require a more hardy dye treatment than caucasians. They used to go to a salon for a full dye job once every six months or so.

Optimal boots

I've got a new pair of snow boots that I plan to wear on consecutive days, all day. Not interested in bringing a pair of non-boot shoes to work. During the rest of the year, I alternate days with my non-boot office shoes (wear one pair on Monday, the other pair on Tuesday) because I hear that letting the shoe dry out between wearings makes it last longer. These boots are too expensive to buy a second pair. So how should I handle them overnight to maximize their life? Northern people, help me out. Thank you!

Selling gold online?

Can you recommend a place that I can send and sell a piece of gold jewelry? This is an old necklace my mother gave me. It is quite hideous and I am sure it is ideal only for scrap, rather than to sell 'as is'. I am looking for convenient and easy.

Crocheting (or knitting?) baby things

I'd like to crochet a baby blanket and possibly other baby items. A stuffed animal would be great. But is it actually possible to crochet something durable enough that it will survive baby excretions and multiple washings? What kind of crochet stiches should I be looking for? What weights and types of yarn? Do you have recommendations? [more inside]

Wash - iron - before use

I just bought a new mask manufactured by this company. On the front of the package there's a sticker that says "wash - iron - before use". I'm neurodivergent and find it really challenging to follow instructions that I don't understand the reasoning behind. Neither the packaging nor the website explain why I'm supposed to wash and iron the mask before use. Frankly I'd rather not if I don't actually have to - but I don't understand why I might have to or not enough to make that call myself. [more inside]

Bracing for a repair job.

I use an Ankle Foot Orthosis for foot drop, from Spastic Paraparesis, on my left foot. The problem is that the Velcro on my brace cuff has worn out, and will no longer hold the brace onto my leg - namely, the strap that attaches to the Velcro patch has been worn smooth, and thus will not stick. (The actual Velcro itself is fine.) Is there a way where I can repair this/fix this myself? [more inside]
